For those critics who might say that cows have hoofs and not fingers, in this world, cows have evolved to have hands and fingers enabling them to dominate the world. I believe that no animal can dominate the earth if it did not have limbs with fingers or claws...

Cows have gotten tough in the future. Without humans to protect them they have developed a scaley skin to protect them from preditors. Keeping their hair while maintaining scales was a fluke of evolution, however it has saved them in harsh winters. The hair can grow out and protect them from the cold and it sheds in warmer weather exposing the scales once again.

i know it isnt much but i thought it looked kinda cool
