Really nice job blending girl image with bicycle...along with painstaking outlining the spokes of the tires. Only issue for me is that it almost looks like this scene could happen with gravity. I think the subject needs a shadow or more objects to make this truly look like zero gravity. Good job though...

Okay, where's E.T. in the front basket wrapped in a blanky! hehehe.. good luck author, cute vision

HI everybody, this is my first competition entry and I hope you like my work.

Basicly for this image I got a nice countryside backround. Found a chair and cut it out. Onto the chair I put the competition image, firstly though, I cut it out and puppet wrapped it so it looks like a helmet. Then I added a camo texture to the helmet and played around with the different blend modes. Lasty I put everuthing together by adding some extra shadows, and then I added a nice Brown and Orange gradiend and blended that to look nice.
Take care! (5 years and 3256 days ago)

Welcome to the competition. Just a thought for your entry... The shadow on the chair doesn't match the high noon image it is placed on. It also looks like you distorted the image of the chair (if you hold down shift while resizing the aspect ratio will remain constant thus avoiding the distortion).
Also a high res copy would be nice so that we can see what you did with the turtle shell.
Cheers and good luck.

Have to admit, the shadow is fascinating . It's not correct, but on the other hand...who cares . A high resolution version would be nice though (if you want that, then go to topnavigation My stuff - My contests, there you see your entry and then you can check the option High Resolution, something like that...). Good luck!

Perspective on the cart and the ground is different and theres a shadow from the trees in the original picture under the patch of grass on the right so it looks like it;s floating. If you can adjust those two things it'll be a very nice image. Good job!

author says:

Thanks Ponti, I think the perspective, from my point of view,is right, the cart will follow a path, which, if you follow the lines, they will make a curve to the right, where the cart is. You're right on the shadow, will correct that. Thank you for comment.

avatar ImmerVerloren

you made the big tree disappear, but you left its shadow on the ground pay more attention to shadows, otherwise it's nice, i like it. good luck!

author says:

Shadow was corrected. I added more vegetation to the right. Thanks for suggestions and observation.

avatar erikuri

For me the perspective of the cart it's ok ( it's just imagining the cart going down a slope). But I think that bushes on the right side are a little blurred...

author says:

Thanks erikuri....bushes in the right side corrected.

Excellent corrections author.. (sorry to keep nagging) but on the right hand side the blending of some of the vegetation is a tad odd, maybe add a shadow underneath the vegetation and darken up the bottom. Again - great image, just a few slight alterations to make. Good luck author!!

author says:

Ponti55: Added the shadows underneath the bushes, and darkened the bottom. You are not "nagging" you are giving me suggestions for a better entry, and I appreciate that. Thanks.

Nice feeling to this but the cart path should be a bit narrower toward the houses. Otherwise well done.

author says:

Thank you for comments: Glockman: I think there is no much distance between the cart and the the end of the lines. It could have been narrower to the top of the little hill, but I think it looks ok, the way it is. As a matter of fact, it is to late to make corrections now...
