I read your SBS and to a newbie this is really educational. How do you cut out the pieces so precisely? ..Do you use the pen tool? I have to tell you that after viewing KILL, and BANG and explosions and more explosions and fire..... to have come upon your little scooter, peaceful in blue, nice reflections, cool blue to calm the heat of BANG BANG BANG was simply a joy for my eyes. This, to me, is top notch work. I love it.

The source pieces were easy to cut out with the Pen Tool (with a 1px feather) since there was a lot of curves and straight lines. After some of the pieces, such as the rear fender and under the seat, were Warped and Puppet Warped into shape I did have to Pen them out one more time to get perfect lines and curves.

I rarely use it too. I wish we could change the color of the outline that it makes as well as the color of the nodes. They get hard to see because they are grey.

It was a cold night. NinjaBear decided that another house of horrors - that is how he called slaughterhouses - had to fall. Riding his bike to the location, he asked himself how could humans build such monstrous and dreadful places. So much pain, and blood, and death...
This hideous place had to be purified with fire, he thought.

Cool idea and good story to go with your image. I think the fire would brighten the area a bit more though, then we would be able to see a bit more of Ninja Bear. You put time into dressing him, it would be nice to see a little more of his outfit.

Rebel Biker Babe - created by spaceranger
On a snowy ice world a lovely rebel uses her feminine charms and a good blaster to steal a speeder bike from an unsuspecting scout trooper during a heated battle with soldiers of The First Order. Being a native of the ice world she's well adapted to the cold climate giving her and her compatriots an advantage over the enemy forces. X-Wings attack from the rear surprising the enemy troops and ultimately stopping their onslaught.
I really enjoyed working on this, PixelSquid has some great images and gives a fun alternative to the usual contests. I hope we see more PixelSquid contests in the future.

Very fun! A "Cloud" in the sky might be amusing. I would note that tires that aren't perfect circles are going to make for a wobbly ride.

Nice concept.. i like the bike a lot.. one thing bothers me.. everything is in the 2D space, but the handle is in 3D.. It looks like the wheel and the steering don't match now... just a little thing (i know) see what you do with it
You're right but it's too late to change it now. The contest is already in voting mode. Just imagine the rider had an accident which broke the chain and twisted the handle bars.
He is lucky to not have been seriously injured. 
Nice "CBR," shadow could have been a little better.
By all means, if you have time to teach me how to improve shadows, I am all ears.
