First i used soft brushes to free the turtle, then a marquee to finish off.
After that i brought in two source images, a moon and clouds.
I cut out a piece from the cloud marquee, enlargened it and softened it up. Then i added detail with other brushes, mostly experimental and random.
I adjusted brightness and contrast and placed the moon in the corner.
I got picture of a tree outside my house, then i painted over it with one color. After that i used Burn and Sponge to add a little 3d, then i used Dodge to add the odd 3d lighting, which i think works with the odd scene.
Finally i added the roots, burned and sponged them as well, used a dark gradient background, added a light, painted an eye on the turtle and added a final light. (5 years and 3254 days ago)

Cool retro feel. I'm a little uncomfortable with the size and placement of "we" and the heart relative to "DANCE." Maybe center "we" above the heart? Move the heart up so it's in line with "DANCE" and then overlay "we" on top of the heart? "2010" should be right-justified with "DANCE" -- and I'd make it exactly as wide as the E or maybe even put it inside the E. The yellow stripe should go behind the D, and I think the blue spiral should go behind the text as well. "On 23rd [not 23th] June" should all be on the same line.

I like all of this except for the "we" and the heart. They need to either be really off center or be completely on center with the "Dance." I really like the rest of it because it looks like an actual poster you'd see.

Huh...Na'avi people don't have jewels on the body and on the face...ears and nose are the hardest part...u should work a bit more on a nose...nice job with the eyes but eyeballs should be yellow...good luck author
