Used 1 source picture. Used lasso tool and eraser to chop glass. Used Lasso tool and cut and pasted onto the actual background of the source. Cut and pasted several glasses and faded them. I used the brush tool and selection tool to create the globe itself.
EDIT: Redid the glass flying around, got some water on the table.

the dark background makes it a bit hard to see, but good luck 
I really like the idea, but the broken glass isn't very realistic.. try making it more demensional .. Gl
The water & little snow bits would be pouring out...
It is kind of hard to tell it's breaking out of the globe. CMYK made a good suggestion.

car is to blury,i like the idea but is to big difference with other sources
i'm sorry but i don't get what you mean by 'the difference with other sources'? I made it blury because it has speed, that's 'motion blur filter'?
Background is hard....Also the car is not that sharp which makes the effect a little dull...If you make the car sharper and clearer i guess it would be a beautiful entry....

How did you do the shattered glass? Put it on a sbs to show us!...
Btw, pieces are a bit flat, maybe a bevel and emboss effect would be good.

Actually, Langstrum, I think this should be okay. It's capturing the shattering of glass at high-speed, no? My only suggestions would be to remove the repeated glass as this is not something that would be captured in high-speed, and maybe rather a motion blur. Also, the shattered glass seems a bit of a mess and it's hard to distinguish properly.
