Beautiful,so peaceful, inviting to contemplation. It will become truly epic soon though, as the largest part of the bridge is not supported by an arch. Perhaps that's what the monk awaits, something to happen in his life, even something terrible as people falling down? Maybe he is meditating on the laws of physics??? Is the bridge going to collapse or not? who will dare crossing???

author says:

Thanks Z. The bridge is made of ancient secret monk materials. It's the hardest substance known to man.

Good image, but I'd flip the monk...the highlights & shadows on the robe say the light source is to his right.

author says:

Good idea. I may do that. Surprised that slipped by me. It's a simple fix. Thanks for your eagle eye.

author says:

TY man. Monk was flipped horizontally in the final version. Good suggestion.

A photo composite inspired by the rocks of nova scotia. The Climber in the background is a photo I took of my brother climbing. The mountains were built from one stock photo of a rock duplicated and scaled to create the necessary shapes. (227 days ago)

Hi! you should read this: http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
You must post the link of every photo you use.
If you have used personal photos you must upload all of them in the SBS part.
You are not allowed to give your name or mark a name on your chops, as the contests must remain anonymous until the votes are finished.

Your chop is good so you should comply to the rules before a mod takes it off

author says:

thanks, I updated the links and removed the name

Zizounai says:

This is better but the Instagram links show names. You must post your photos in the SBS section of the final upload (profile - my entries - SBS) and the Pexels or Unsplash links in "Profile - My entries - Sources" Just have a look at what the others do (well, when it is well done )
And by the way: Welcome!

Oh man, it should be UNDERHILL!!!! (sorry, LOTR nut here... and well,.. Underhill is just well.. a better title.. (great job!)... my two cents anyway..

author says:

Underhill... I love all the LOTR/Hobbit stories. Wasn't "Underhill" Frodo's name to hide his identity when he was carrying the ring?

Sort of a heavy composite. From first glance it will be hard to tell hot the sources were actually used, so check out the SBS.

Very well done. Cute story with a stork bringing a baby elephant to mama. Must be a very strong stork.

author says:

It was hard to come up with any "theme" or "story" using those 4 sources. I loved that elephant source and built the Chop around it. Wasn't really planning on using that background, but that cliff was finagled in there and since the source background had a house in it, I made a shoe house. Was stuck at that point for most of the day on how to fit a bag into the scene. I had a (human) baby hanging in that bag off a tree branch which looked OK, but then tried the baby elephant in the bag. It was then that I managed to find the strongest stork ever and after some consultation, the stork said it could in fact "deliver" the baby elephant.

skyangel says:

Just as well since we couldn't have a orphaned elephant. That would create a very sad mother.

Put the path on the grass and made her a lovely fish to live in. Added a sky, flag, birds, and scarecrow too. (1 year and 291 days ago)

Just to be clear, it's more the angle of the shadow. Look at the shadows of the windmill blades to see the light source.

author says:

It's a tricky light source IMO. In the source image, the shadows on the bushes are going to our right. On the small wood posts on the right side of the source, the shadows go to our left. On the windmill... I dunno. Gonna do what I can. TY for the help CMYK.
