I'm not really sure. When I saw that fissure, the first thing that I thought of was a gash in someone's hide.
It was also my intention this contest to use an image from my own library. The image of the man is my own.

Lovely work. Next time when you add texture to a face like that, make sure you follow the contours with some warp. The texture shouldn't go over the mouth like that. Nice result anyway.

Nice - but you might want to add a touch of blue maybe to the base of the wings to help with the blend? Also you might want to add your source on the main page or you might get asked a few times, not everyone looks at the sbs.. GL.
Yes, thank you animmax. I had forgotten about the wings and the tattoo until I started writing the SBS. I'm working on it. Those sources will be up momentarily. There are some other mistakes I noticed in High Res that I'm trying to fix quickly. I will see what I can do with your suggestion. Again, thank you!
Wings are way too small for the figure....
CMYK46, I was thinking that but not too sure. I had to find wings that weren't drawn. You see, rules governing other people's artwork only apply to me (yeah, still bitter). I Warped and Scaled them but blah... They're a bit off center, but I have gotten to a point where I can't really fix them, even with the unflattened layers still available. Am I making excuses? Probably. I guess I'll just have to accept judgement with the way it is now. Thanks for your feedback.
