Pop Art - Photoshop Contest [22 entries]
Pop Art can be any every day item that is drawn in a brash and colorful way. Pop Art is short for Popular Art. It is inspired by comic strips, advertising, and popular entertainment. Goal in this contest is to make an entry in this tradition. See examples here.
Pop Art reflects the times and popular images are often used in this genre. So use of copyrighted celebrity photos and products (i.e. Marilyn Monroe, Campbell's soup cans) and only these two categories is permitted in this contest. No other copyrighted images are permitted.This is a form of parody but you can't show the copyrighted image in a negative or derogatory way. You may not use someone else's illustration or artwork in any way. Source links are still necessary. All other standard rules are in effect.
