Climbers Heaven - created by ltiday

Climbers Heaven
Favs: 0SBS: n/aHi-resRank: 4/8Score: 52.4% (20)11200 views

A photo composite inspired by the rocks of nova scotia. The Climber in the background is a photo I took of my brother climbing. The mountains were built from one stock photo of a rock duplicated and scaled to create the necessary shapes. (4 years and 361 days ago)

Hi! you should read this: http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
You must post the link of every photo you use.
If you have used personal photos you must upload all of them in the SBS part.
You are not allowed to give your name or mark a name on your chops, as the contests must remain anonymous until the votes are finished.

Your chop is good so you should comply to the rules before a mod takes it off

thanks, I updated the links and removed the name

Zizounai says:

This is better but the Instagram links show names. You must post your photos in the SBS section of the final upload (profile - my entries - SBS) and the Pexels or Unsplash links in "Profile - My entries - Sources" Just have a look at what the others do (well, when it is well done )
And by the way: Welcome!

This is a great entry, however you must list your sources or show them as your own in a step by step.

Oh my goodness gracious, this one goes out of the ballpark. Your creativity rocks and now , all thanks to your post, you are inspiring me. The colour palette is stunning and catches our eyes immediately. The diagonal placement brilliant. Thank you so much for posting this. I do wish you had put up the steps you used to create this....us peons (speaking of myself) would learn from your talent. Thank you again.

author says:

Hi Still26, I didn't bother adding an SBS because I thought the steps were obvious. However, since you ask, I simply used some topaz filters on the car image and blended them together on overlay. Then I copied and pasted the image to the table image and covered the book which was originally on the table. I used the perspective tool to change the perspective of the car so it looked like it was lying on the table and added a small drop shadow. I copied the hand from the source, pasted it on top of the car layer and added a drop shadow. I copied the brush from the source and replaced the pen in the hand with the brush. I made the top of the red brush by copying part of the lower section of it and flipping it horizontally, transforming it to fit and I rounded the top of it with the eraser.

Thank you for your response. I never thought of using the perspective tool, I would have sweated and sweated and given up. See , you have taught me .....remember that I am a techno moron but I AM TRYING to overcome this handicap thanks to artists like you!

author says:

You should never call yourself any kind of moron, not even in jest. You are a very intelligent woman and you learn fast. We are all learning new things.
