Pretty nice storytelling image, could be from some exotic fairy tail. Small nitpick: for some reason I expect the cow (it's a cow, right?) from behind the large pillar, since the front paws are on a same line as that pillar (in perspective, that is). You could think about if you want to mask away that bodypart. Good luck!

Great work author...u could use few colors adjustment layers to made better blending and maybe to get few % on the effect...my advice with color like this is to use dark brown color,blend mode set to color with low opacity and maybe some nice blue-gray color also color blend mode set to color and low opacity...and if u want to spice it a bit,add dark green and set blend mode to soft light,that will pop up the figures a bit...good luck Reply »

Cow and buffalo are not so equal, but not so different; both are bovinae. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovinae)
I think the buffalo's rump must appear behind the column - a little, at least. I like the coloring of the image. Reply »

@Erica: As far as i know there is a lot of difference between a cow and a Buffalo......colour, horn, body shape etc........ and buffaloes are stronger than a cow........ In our country we use them for ploughing ............... Reply »

Very cool, but I think the blown flame's edges should be wholly contained within the dragon's mouth -- and probably would be largely on the back side of the visible fang. I don't get the lower jaw which looks like it's 2D casting a shadow in the background. Eye glow would be more threatening if it were less flat looking. Outer edges of neck flare are a little bland. very nice work,great coloring...only thing that is wrong is shadow...light is come directly from the back of the pineapple,so shadow have to be in front...fix that author,this work is great...best of luck Reply »

Tropical pineapple as a building form in the desert is an interesting concept. I'm afraid I'm going have to disagree with erathion, however. The light in Source 1 seems to be coming from the front more or less and the pineapple is lit similarly (as is still evidenced in the highlights in the leafy crown of your current entry). SBS Step 5 has good lighting to my mind, but nevertheless has some other problems: Pineapple shadow needs to be sharp, not vague, consistent with harsh desert light. Doorway arch needs both right and left sides. Similarly, faux right-side window arches require faux left-side window arches. (My solution would be no faux window arches.) Make the lighting more dramatic like your current entry (but without letting the pineapple blend into the background and without the black border). I think the interior ladder should be moved to the right so it's only partially visible -- or maybe just delete it as it seems kind of unnecessary without more interior light. Reply »
