Favorite Book 2 - Photography Contest [10 entries]

Contest goal:

Marcel Proust said once: "There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book." And how right he is with that! Your task is to take a photo of your favorite book. It can be one from your childhood, which you still love or one that you can read over and over again now as an adult.

There is a little catch though: you have to set up a scene, that includes the book and something that is related to it. If your favorite book is Shakespeares' Hamlet for instance, you could place the book in the middle, a skull next to it and write on a parchment his famous "To be or not to be".

Please make sure to include in your description, what the objects you added to the book mean, so people who don't know your favorite book can understand what you wanted to illustrate. Have fun and good luck!

Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

The world as we know it has ended. Disease has killed all but a select few. Now, the ultimate battle between good and evil begins... it is the battle for your immortal soul.

(The sand is for the desert, which is where the final battle takes place. The crows' feather and skull represent the 'Walking Man'who is evil. He travels and spies on others in the shape of a crow. The light from within the book represents the light that shines from within each person, the light of all that is good, and it's power over evil.) (5 years and 1611 days ago)
