Take a photo of something so crisp and in focus that we can almost feel the texture of your subject. HDR, sharpening, and contrast adjustments will be OFF THEME if the photo shows "Halos" or visible artifacting, so adjustments need to be skillful and subtle. Do your best!
jacobeva: Does the whole photo have to be in great focus, or can it be just one part that has amazing texture. ( 5 years and 665 days ago )
MossyB: The entire photo needs to be "so crisp and IN FOCUS" that we can almost feel the texture of your subject - not just a portion of your subject...
If you can only get one part that has "amazing texture," then crop accordingly. ( 5 years and 665 days ago )
MnMCarta: gee... does someone have issues with HDR? ( 5 years and 664 days ago )
Contest Moderator: People the idea of this contest is to create an image that is crisp and in focus...if the area that is in focus is any less that 95% of the total image area, it's off theme. to stay safe, I would recommend keeping the ENTIRE image in sharp focus. ( 5 years and 664 days ago )
CMYK46: You don't need HDR to fulfill the contest guideline and produce a good photo. ( 5 years and 663 days ago )
Nator: CMYK is completely correct! ( 5 years and 663 days ago )
MnMCarta: No one said you did. ( 5 years and 661 days ago )
audreyj: Although many great photos with some areas very crisp, I think many are missing the bit about keeping the entire image in focus. ( 5 years and 658 days ago )
audreyj: ...or rather a few are...not so many but a few. ( 5 years and 658 days ago )
