Digital Drawing: The goal of this contest is simple: choose your favorite singer (male/female) and make a portrait of him/her! Make sure to mention in your description which singer you drew. Your entry can only obtain 1 person and has to be a singer.

Exception in this contest: copyrighted references are OK but you MUST post them.

Don't forget that 2 progress steps in your SBS is mandatory.

Remember rule 7.12.: References can be used to look at and study BUT you are not allowed to make an exact or close copy of the reference. As it has to be your own artwork you'll have to create your own interpretation of the reference without making it your goal to make a (close) copy of the reference.

Glockman: imo if you do a close reference painting and it looks like it was done with filters you are going to stand the chance of being pulled, if you are good enough to do an exact copy you should be good enough to change some features so it doesn't look like it was traced. ,but of course most voters here really do not know the difference so getting it by is also a possibility. take your chances as some have and failed and some have and succeeded. jack2: so i am that good that people think that my art is traced ,when you compete you want to show everybody your skills ,what must i do ...go and change the paint because it look like its been traced that would be cheating RIGHT ??? I have used only the mouse if you would take the time and go threw the sbs you would see that its a real work .their are a lot of examples in this contest with the name trace on it why don't they take them of ??? i thought the judge would be people with experience but now i really doubt it .....thinking that i used unauthorized techniques ...it not fair to even say or think that when somebody has put in all the steps that were be taken and you clearly see that its been done with the mouse .. i will say i am proud that my work is that good that people think its traced or even been made with unauthorized techniques this all only give me more credits because i know my work is real ( 5 years and 2963 days ago )

Glockman is right here, if you use a reference you can use it to look at and if your drawing skills are good then use your reference as described in the rule above and make your own interpretation of the reference and make it not the same as the reference image. ( 5 years and 2962 days ago )

After Britneys divorce from Kevin Federline she had a period of time were she seemed to rebel against the purity image that propelled her to stardom. She went through a time of public scorn over her parenting and social behavior.leading her to fall from the grace of many of her fans and suffer in sales of new releases.She gained weight, shaved her head at one point and went through mental evaluations for public misbehavior problems.

Like I said before, I like how he tells it how it is. The first entry I submitted was disqualified for looking too much like the reference. There was 9 hours involved in that entry, you can add another 3 hours for all the edits. (5 years and 2961 days ago)
