Beautiful and kind of creepy if you think about your food watching you while you eat it. Good job author! Reply »

aka Henk. Everything done on this image was done from the interview answers on Wazowski's profile page. It was really hard for me to dumb down the details to make it look like the simpsons. I hope it resembles Henk enough. (1 year and 355 days ago)

Thanks everyone for the comments. First off sunlight still travels through space, it just doesn't reflect off anything. Thats why space is black, but also why the guys would be bright. A quick search for astronaut will prove this. As for the proportions, this isn't real. Space has no gravity and without a space suit these guys would die instantly from the pressure. My thought anyways is that when they jumped from the satellite they didn't fall, they just floated away. Reply »

Love your idea and composition. Might soften some edges on his shirt, but all in all, a good job. Reply »
Nice image. Looks great in hi-res, except one spot on the top, by the pillow, theres some brush marks. Otherwise, a fine chop. Good Luck!

This is a nice job, but in my opinion this is more of a Photoshop of your background image than it is of the original source image. Reply »

Ah, country livin', huh? lol You got the lighting just right, but I'd like to see the moon just a little less dotty. Its a little distracting from the rest of this really well done piece.
Oh, and you just heard about kids doing this and didn't draw it from personal experience, right?

Yes kyricom, the moon is shining through the tint on the windshield. Yeah! your probably right about the title as well! Reply »

First I thought I would make a robot......Then I thought I would make a bear......Then I thought why not make a bear factory. (2 years and 198 days ago)
This is beautifully done, nice use of the source. My only minor suggestion would be making the plate a little bit smaller so we could see a little bit of bear tummy. THat and it would be nice to see the front bear smiling now that he is all full of love :P
A really nice job though, well done.
edit: nice (and really quick) change. Thanks for taking on the feedback!

IIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! awesome thinking author.. WHITE CHOCOLATE is GREAT!!! Reply »
Nice job, though a high-res would be nice (as would paying tribute to the author of the chop that clearly inspired this one). Reply »
Thanks for the comment Ray, but the image I uploaded is 3648X2736. You must not of notice the large view button has been moved recently. You're right I've seen many entries like these over the years, but can't tell you who originally thought it up. If you have the answer I would love to know. Reply »
Great entry author!
and RayTetwell... what there is no inspiration leading to people having ideas of their own or themes or anything else... white and dark chocolate... oooohhhhh.... clearly inpsired... What are you talking about!? EDIT: Ok I did a seach on the internet and Ray is right???? Admit it author, it wasn't a chop but, it was White chocolate covered Oreos!
Author keep up the Super awesome entries and leave people who make utterly nonsense comments wondering...

Very cool work author...i like the contrast idea, always the same struggle between good and evil,Eros and Thanataos,Yin and Yang...but the result is always the same, love and lust are the different parts of the same medal....Well done for using that idea and clap clap for great execution...

NIFTY FISH.. though they look hard to chew!.. hehehe
now he's got teeth.. hehehe.. great change (though the original was just as fine.. make sure you retain both versions.. you never know when they will come in handy!!! Reply »
@CMYK46; Thanks for noticing! If I have time I'll try to add some piranha teeth for a more dramatic scene. Reply »
maybe add a little shadow, the two fins on the left look like they're not attached to the fish, but otherwise, so creative! love the futuristic effect and the look in its eye. omg, noticed you added the teeth! future 'cuda
Edit: that's a lot better, author! Reply »
Thanks pearlie, I smudged the fins into the fish and added shadows under the fins. Reply »

I really debated adding the rain, but decided to go ahead and add it. (3 years and 42 days ago)
This is very a minimal amount of work. You really should try to do more with the source. Look at other entries to see the possibilities. Reply »
@spaceranger I'm really sorry you feel that way. I have over 3 hrs of work on this piece. I have viewed the other entries and I take offense of what you said. Now I feel like I could of spent 2hrs 50mins less to meet your needs. Reply »
The work is clean and does look good, my point is that imagination and an original concept attracts greater interest and attention. We do have contests that are photo-retouching oriented from time to time and this would fare nicely in those. I never intend to offend rather to encourage your creativity. You show good chopping skills...push the envelope a bit and I'm sure we'll see some really great work from you. Reply »
Thanks everyone for your comments! @spaceranger, I understand now what you were trying to say. I guess sometimes I pay more attention to details instead of being more creative with the entry. Reply »
I love the change! The girl and the dog fit the mood beautifully and suggest a back story we can only imagine. Well done! I look forward to more of your work. Good Luck! Reply »
Yeah, I like this too. Where the water leaves the balconies looks a bit heavy but there it meets the ground looks great (detailed). I'd like to see a high res. Nice rain and rain drops. She'd have more shelter under the nearest right balcony but.. Very nice work and I looks forward to more too
Reply »
You've certainly improved this.
Nice work! Realistic and nice mood. Reply »
@erikuri: Thanks for the comment. For the rain I add a new layer with a fill of 50% gray. Added noise and did a motion blur the direction of the rain. Then set the layer mode to overlay. For the rain coming off the balconies, I did another layer, went to layer styles. Changed the fill to 0% and added an inner glow. Then with a white brush 100% painted the falls. For the drops on the ground added another layer filled with gray. Added noise and then did charcoal filter. Adjusted the levels and then set the blend mode to screen. Then just adjusted the prospective of the layer. Hope this helps. Reply »
