Contest goal: Whether you believe in their existence or not, angels are an important and interesting part of human culture. Your goal is to take a photograph of something that depicts an angel. This can be a person in a costume, a ceramic figure, a statue, etc.
Although angels come in many forms, in this case we are looking for pictures of winged beings ect. i.e. a picture of a small child that you consider a little angel will be considered off topic.
2. Deadly innocence.
Contest goal: Horror movies have some of the most iconic and memorable covers and posters. Some unforgettable examples are: Frankenstein, The Amityville Horror, The Silence of The Lambs, Child’s Play, and Psycho.
Imagine you a freelance photographer who has just gotten a request from a production company to take a photograph for their upcoming horror movie. The Hollywood buzz is that this particular horror film may surpass all others before it in gross sales so the production company wants to make sure that the picture they use for the cover will be able to stand against the other classics for all time.
The ideal shot will be something that conveys the fact that it is a horror film without being too graphic. Also since this will be a classic style film the shot needs to have a classic feel to it. As with the last photo assignment contest, voters please take into consideration the ASSIGNMENT and whether the entry meets this criteria. Just because it looks like a cool picture, doesn’t mean you should vote high on this one. This one is about following the directions of the theme and being a quality photo.
