Eye Closeup - Photography Contest [31 entries]

This contest is about photographing your own or someone else's eye. Just 1 eye may be visible, a small part of the nose (not the bridge of your nose) and the eyebrow. It must be a human eye, so animals not allowed. A nice visible and recognizable reflection in it is a plus but not required.

This contest is open for users with level 5+ or higher.
This contest is in finished. Check out the winners below!

sorry for the low quality, but this photo is not cropped in anyway shape or form, it's just low quality from the zoom (1 year and 348 days ago)

My own eye.Took using a 100mm reversed with a 50mm at f22 and used flash. Used a mirror to look at the liveview screen to focus. (1 year and 346 days ago)

Thought I would get unique with my eye shot

I cropped the shot because people complained about it not following the standards of the contest, don't blame me for the lack of quality in the shot, for this photo, the original was a close as I could get to my eye. I hate cropping with a burning passion, and only do so to straighten a photo or to fix poor composition, otherwise I see cropping as a useless editing technique. (1 year and 344 days ago)
