Did you give this an HDR effect? It shows a weird "halo" effect above the bridge and on the side of the center support which really detracts from the "shades of gray" effect by giving it a very artificial look.

The guy in the forground is blurry, while the guy in the back is in sharper focus than he should be for "proper "depth of field." Perhaps you should reverse their positioning...

Re-read the contest description. This is an "odd" combination of elements, which is all the contest calls for. Anything more is up to you as a voter to perceive or miss...

The white balance on your HDR is a bit off - the grayish tones on the back of the guy's jacket is a dead giveaway. You also have a bit too much dead space with all the sidewalk in the foreground, it makes the people "target centered," but not in a very dynamic way. A slight crop would help that.

If they were all sliver and reflective, this would be a great take on the theme, but having them colored with those strange artificial colors doesn't make this look like a disco ball, just a bunch of utensils...

A crossover/zebra is not a corner, and the photo does not show the intersection of two streets, all it shows is a curve. The word, "corner" is in itself, explanatory, "where two lines in a different ANGLE MEET EACH OTHER..."
It shouldn't take a college degree to see that NO SUCH ANGLE OR INTERSECTION is in this photo...Sheesh!

The boy floating on the right hand block is very deformed, leaning too far to the left. If you use Edit>Transform>Warp, and bring his head a bit to the right and round it out a bit, he will look much more natural.

Needs an SBS, but otherwise, quite lovely.

I really like the mood and effect of this. It's almost surreal, and the contrasts are wonderful. Excellent job! My fav.
