Dramatic. Moving the figure to the left a tad in conformance with the Rule of Thirds might oomph the impact. I confess I personally don't get a 'spooky' aspect as required by the contest description. (The title is awkward. Something a bit more abstract like "The End of Music" might work better.)

Now before anyone gets their knickers in a twist.. in step 7 of the SBS it shows the 3 HUMANS in order to be on theme, if this is not acceptable, the author will understand, and please know that the author is aware of the situation and will take the lumps accordingly :)
I just really got a kick out of watching this huge C.A.T. dismantle a sand tower in less then an hour, it was amazing.

Your concern for our knickers is to be commended. This looks legal to me. It also looks like a pretty dangerous work site with all that simultaneous earth moving. I think the coloring and high contrast of the end result adds drama and interest. The CAT at 9 o'clock seems to be an oddly mini one, however.

Nice dark image! I like the overall effect, but feel her skin glows a bit much. Still, its a great image and nice use of textures!
The highlight on her abdomen really confuses me. All of a sudden it appeared in step 7 and I was like, WTF? Otherwise I like the concept but also agree with Jade. Sorry to be so picky, but I do like the idea.
