Erikuri thr's a saying that the road to heaven is not an easy one..it is full of perils and evil...so i jst wanted to potray that...beyond tht castle gate is the kingdom of heaven but the road that leads to it is full of evil....

I really like this one author, nice work. My only suggestion is that the castle on the left probably looks a little too crisp given the foggy atmosphere, and draws the eye a bit too much, maybe just dull/blur it a lil bit.

I think the gap in the mist where the woman is, actually spoils the work that's gone into it...as it stands now...

the front hand needs to be blended in more at the bottom as you can still see the straight line, I'd also push the temple thing on the left further into the BG as your composition is leading your eye over to the right.

Looks really good, id look into adding some shadows from the statues and island if the light behind is so bright, also the city nor the statues (far left statue looks great, maybe just some slight level adjustments on others) would be so lit from the front.. mainly from the back based on the background light looks. Also if you added a reflection of the island on the ocean to give the feeling it was really floating over the ocean i think this could look really amazing.

Thank you for your comments. @Teahupoo353, I'll do something with the shadow but the reason I didn't make the reflection of the island is this scene is not the ocean, the ship is going to the top of the waterfall, and the island is behind everything on this scene, it's floating on the waterfall, not on the water surface, so we can't see the reflection. If you see in hi-res you can find that the sharpness of the main statue is the highest, and other objects in front are blurred to different extents. Thank you very much for that suggestion and welcome both two of you to the site

I think the Kingdom's shadow on the water should be stronger and the waterlines of the statues on the left and right sides should be more 3D-looking (curved, not just straight across).

Looks like I won't be entering this contest! LOL! Great job author! The only thing that bothers me is the mist on the water. Perhaps a bit of smudge left and right would make it more whisky. Good luck!

Good thing you submitted this here...there's no reflection to speak of.

This is really great conceptually and visually. Since you have so much time left, It would be cool to work on all the tiny nuances and blendings to make it perfect. Right now it's so striking, but the mist is very one dimensional and could be richer, and the clouds in spots are blown out/ have very little depth. I think you could definitely push this to an even higher level, if you're not sick of working on it yet. But over all A really great fantasy story, and a really thoughtful blend of images.

It must be a wonderful place to live... nice work, author (as always!)...

Thank you guys, your comments are very encouraging to me ^^. @Dan: yes, I'll do the reflection and shadow better. @Chalty and Anna: You're right on the mist, I just painted quickly, so now I'll try to fix that, also, I have some idea, so more details will be made. @CMYK46: the initial idea was a bit different from that one, I focused on making the reflections, but I got bored soon, then I shifted to the cloud city for that contest.
