Don't ask me why I decided to do this, I don't even know myself. Started to become a bit of an obsession spending far too long on it (approx 16 hours).

It's actually hard to tell what they are in high res as well. In this res, it looks like I'm looking at funny looking crabs. I think it's the color of their heads that blend in too much.

Very nice. But while cutting the ant, you can make even more clear. At one place, the background is seen. correct that alone. ALL THE BEST AUTHOR!

Erikuri i made the giant ants by cutting out shapes from the wooden texture used as a source(lined above) and then used dodge and burn tool and drew the legs and the antennae...
