Which side are you on? When I looked at the lemon picture all I could see was the android logo. So I ran with it. Most of the content is manipulated stock except the slices and bandana. I couldn't find any sources of lemon/lime slices in a good quality and correct angle so I decided to just draw them myself. The slices were hand drawn then used the plastic wrap to help give them more definition and realism. (5 years and 2570 days ago)
Don't ask me why I decided to do this, I don't even know myself. Started to become a bit of an obsession spending far too long on it (approx 16 hours).
Used the ant as a reference for the pose, trying to keep a similar depth of field. All sources from sxc.hu

Thanks for your comment. Since the eyes are just camera apertures, they wouldn't have color.
(I agree that it might be cool though, but I'm going for some sort of realism here).
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the original pic. how cool it would look as hair = )
Nicely done. The only thing I noticed was the luck of shadow on the left side of the hair.
Very interesting work author...maybe u cold create some more metal parts on the face...
EmiK, the light's from the right, so the shadows are only on the left side of the hair.
Erathion, I played with some metal mouth parts...they sucked, IMO...besides, the lips are so nice, and this is supposed to be a partially finished android, hence the eyes.
Great work! Love the hair and the eyes are great. Somehow the lack of eyebrows gives it a very strange,inhuman look ... which is what you want in an android!
