You left some white space between the branches. Why would a live tree be in the middle of a river?

Sorry author,looked like realism to me.
The silhouette isn't very clean, there's quite a bit of white in the tree and the edges go from soft to hard with a lot of residual image pieces. If you use the magic wand, select the white, then go to selection and choose similar and click. Most all of the white will be gone but you may have to touch up the tree trunk a little and refine the shape a bit.. Sticking the tree in the water doesn't make this a surreal image just a tree out of place. The tree color doesn't match the background, it needs more blue.
And I suppose the tree casts a shadow on the water with all this sunshine...
i agree with Erica about the shadow,everything else is very good idea and nice chop...good luck
