How sweet! Love it! I'm seeing a straight edge on the lower right, right at the edge of the image. Looks like it was partially erased to the edge of the image in PS, and then maybe you nudged it over to the right so it showed back up? Reply »

Gorgeous work author...I have one suggestion,why u don't try to create maybe 2 or 3 color layers...with colors like this first one maybe should be dark green,blend mode set to hmmm soft light and low opacity,second one,dark brown,blend mode set to color,opacity between 30-50%,and finally maybe,but just maybe some kind of gold color,blend mode set to color,opacity between 15-25%...Just an idea,with that maybe u could achieve some rustic look...best of luck author Reply »

Thanks for the helpful comments, erathion. I had already tried several layer combinations, but was losing details in the dove. If I had more time, I would have gone back and not merged layers, but our car died, so spent Friday finding another one. Thanks again. Reply »

Not so great as everyone says. The light source is from behind, but lighting on the tree says light source from the right. The shadow of the tree should be behind and slightly to our left to conform to the light source. Please pay attention, author! Reply »

Nice overall work, a really nice looking image, but be careful with the white edges around the tree and the man. Also be sure to post all of the sources you used.

thanks for the comment. the white margins were made intentionally, because of the backlight. i posted all the sources. the man is made by me using paths and painting over. Reply »

Great work author...Few minor nit picks...u should blur a bit black boat and people on horizon,then glow from the sun on a guy and on a tree can be way better,u achieve that on the turtle,try to do the same on other objects...So that's it,i love this work so much and i will wait with voting,maybe u apply some changes...best of luck Reply »
