Great technique and excellent image! How about making the edge of the foot and the branch less sharp a bit, in Hi-res they look like the paper pieces.

Very appealing and quite realistic, although the source of the front light is mysterious.
It is, but it's possible. Otherwise the bird would be to dark. The second source can be anything you want
