Good work. I suggest to make the ground between him and the castles more blurred, I still can see the discontinuous area right under the castle. Good luck author
Wonderful concept! GL!
Based only on the 2d elements...... nice job.
Congrats, nice work
Thanks for Your comments and votes.

It looks like she only has one leg...I guess that would make me depressed, too!
You might want to move the "lion" shield" away from the one-legged knight a bit, so that people don't confuse it as a "ball arm..." This would also help reveal her "missing" leg, since I think I see a knee joint above the "ball arm" shield confusion.
The figure obviously has two legs. There is chain mail above the lion shield which comes from the waist, then covers a bit of left leg of the figure. If only the author had made a SBS this image wouldn't be so confusing.
Nice source find. However you need some adjustments:
1.You should work out a background. BG matters a lot in giving the context & mood of an entry.
2. You could use some color on her skin & hair - this will be fun and might give a "painting" feel to it.
3.An SBS would help some to appreciate your efforts more.
That's it for know, if you need more I'll be around.
You can edit your entries in My Stuff - My Contest Entries until the deadline.
Author I think you have done a fine job, especially with the armor. A step by step would be helpful for those who are curious as to your method. All in all I like your concept and its execution.
PS: It would be nice to see how you achieved the metallic effect on the shield. We're all here to learn.

just add more edge burn to make it convex
.....and I agree, the figure obviously has 2 legs and is covered with armor, nice work author
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and compliments. I listened to your advice and I made some changes to the picture. especially thank geexman because he answered a question for me.
Very cool! I'd like to see SBS.
Colored skin is sexy! I'm glad you decided to do that!
You could also try to color up her hair, make it blonde-ish so that it relates to the shield.
And if you have time, try to experiment with some grass, some sky, like she's sitting on a rock at the edge of a cliff. Maybe you can even find a nice castle stock and place it on a far hill in the background.
You can improve this a lot!
Thanks devenir3 @fickr and rgstock777 @deviantart for the sources used. (5 years and 1457 days ago)

at first glance I thought it looked great, but whilst it has superb potential I think you need to work on the edges, they all look a little too soft....I hope you can fix them as I really like this concept
i agree with Geexman , and the perspective is not really correct , maybe if you putt a different lawn
I would try on the grass layer: transform, distort or perspective, and resize the layer. imo and
Agree with Geex. Good luck This gots potential for sure
Thank you for your opinions and comments, I´m fixing it!
I also like the naming you gave to the entry, very proper!
Thank you @erikuri, the name is not merit of my own, is the real name of this iron sculpture
Really? Where is it? It's very beautiful, we really need some peace and truce in the world...
Culleredo, España. The monument for peace is in a plaza, very beautiful place.
Thanks for the info!

Nice and cute!
Not bad! You should however blur the edges.
The easiest way is:
1. Ctrl click on the separate layer thumbnail to select it.
2. go to selection modify contract by 1 or 2 pxl depending on the image size.
3. Ctrl I to invert selection.
4. Use gaussion blur & from Edit you can fade the effect if you think it's too much.
IMO you would need to blur edges on all items in your composition so i hope you kept them on different layers.
Thank you, guys!
@greymval: maybe it's a good idea, your suggestion can give the image a soft touch...
Edit: Image softened.
Great composition! GL!
Agree with greymval, maybe even softer still. Motion blur on bird maybe. Love your whole concept, though. Really beautiful image! GL
