Wow, this is really creative and really smooth. I really like it! I suggest where the black wire goes over the shiny metal connecter piece should have a reflection in the metal. Just like the pink wire does at the bottom. But that is just a small detail. The overall image is absolutely fantastic Reply »

@ CMYK46: My idea behind it was that it's more a mask... therefore no need for any other features on the body head purely for the fact the other features are on the part being removed... I did colourise the 'mask' to more a skin tone afer your comment, which I agree looks a little better...

The "plates" on the side of the face look too contrived, her nose looks really big, and her neck looks too squished up with her chin disappearing.

Edit: maybe you could remove a tiny bit of red from her face (or desaturate the red via hue/saturation), so it would match the statue skin color even better, but it's up to you if you'd like the result. Reply »

Not sure if I agree about the background, I think it's quite a fun image with the background its got... it's like Night at the Museum.... One thing I would say that lets it down for me though is you've kept the grain in the museum pic and not added that where you've used the source pic... either adding or taking it away as much as possible (it's achieveable) will help to blend the two images better and make it more convincing...
