The Academy Awards 2010 are coming up again. Almost traditionally, a day before these movie prizes are the Golden Raspberry Awards for worst movie, directing, actor, etc. Not really an event with much glamour, but the idea to award the worst in movies is funny.
Most likely there are other terrible movie situations to give a special award. Your goal is to create a fictive scene, character or actor that is so terribly bad or embarrasing in a specific situation that you want to give it a Golden Raspberry Award . Good luck!

1. select and place the head of the boy in a background w/ a black and white gradient color....clone the mouth away.
2. desaturate the head and make a sepia tone.
3. color both side of the poster white/black accordingly and the lower left dark blue.
4. use a soft brush around the face, white on the left and black on the right side, to have a fade effect.
5. add a film grain filter
6. use dodge on the left side of the face to remove film grain and lighten face.
7. use burn tool on the right face to darken.
8. select and put the moth on mouth. make new layer and color the mouth then set them to 'linear burn'.

Noob at work. (very first entry)

I started with colour images, desaturated, layered, blended, used black and white filter and hit undo so often I am not sure what i did in the end.

Had trouble interpreting the required concept so came up with my own. (5 years and 3343 days ago)

I am not totaly sure if I got the meaning of the contest, but I think it was to make a movieposter or scene kind of, that would be voted as the worst of the year on an academy award.
So I figured - what have we seen over and over again, and does not ever get better...
Hope I didnÂ´t cross any copyrightlines when I wrote the titel of the movie.

Love the "Yet Another Pie Movie" concept, but "The Space Rocket" is lame, with the lameness accentuated by the unrealistic glass dome and rocket exhaust. (Certainly a movie as bad as this image would warrant a Rasberry Award, but I guess I would prefer the winner in this contest to be more clever over all.)

I really like this now for its blatant recognition that it is yet another totally superficial sequel trying to cash in on the success of the original "American Pie" movie -- and thus a very strong contender for a Razzie! (Even though I myself misspelled 'raspberry' in my initial comment, I can't help but observe that 'cannot' is one word, 'Stifmeister' has one F, and 'apparently' has two A's. And I would say 'C-list actors.' Plus 'someone who' is viewed as more respectful of personhood than 'someone that.' [But I'm being overly pedantic. ] BTW no hyphen in 'Pie movies.')

DanL: Yea, well, english is not my native language - IÂ´ll just blame it on that, and the fact that texting in Photoshop sucks when you donÂ´t let it fade into the picture. IÂ´d rather do the pic in PS and then text it in InD. and export it into a jpg, but itÂ´s probably not allowed to use any other program than PS, so... Thanks for the spellingtips...may come handy in another contest. :P
