Had this in mind for all the tragedy at the end of the year. (5 years and 922 days ago)
Very touching. Unfortunately, it's EVERY year in the U.S.
Beautifully done, my thoughts also go out to the people who have to pick up the pieces.
I luv this one. Way to go !!
This one really makes the difference. Thumbs up, author!!
great fantasy, great photo, bravo
how did ya get the tears coming outta the eye ?? Cause there isn't no visible water on top of bear being dropped on the the eye. also what was f stop and shutter speed for this gem ??
Didn't drop onto bear... I stuck a catheter thru the head.. hooked an IV bag up to it and let it run. I used an ISO of 800 for a fast shutter speed of 1/500, f stop 2.8 on a 100mm macro lens from about 6ft away with 3 lights. One behind, one to the left and a snoot on the right.
Yer gonna have to explain this snoot thing. I have one but not sure what to do with it.
Well done & Godbless the children.
Great set up...

Great one on the theme...
Thank you, I thought it was really funny.
Different photo, this is probably not as funny, but hopefully on theme.

How does this relate to the show?
The contest requirements say "You are not necessarily trying to capture the theme of the show, but to interpret the name of the show in a photo" This is a sign posted on some forest trails, and so in this place, even if you are lost, you may not do any of those things.
I was thinking more that it illustrated the lost freedoms that excessive regulations have put upon us.
Yes, but in the context of this very very small country, (where some of it's drinking water has to be imported from another country), every tree, indeed every blade of grass is precious, and preciously looked after.
I'm not following how this relates to the show, or the concept of being lost
I agree with all above, and more, the goal is not only to fit the theme, but also trying to suggest a "nice" picture. Here you only shot a board which isn't even straight ... Not very creative ... If at least you showed us a part of the forest to bring more "elements" to understand your thinking and enrich your photography.
I agree, but the board is quite small and to include the forest would make the board un-readable. Thanks for all the comments anyway.
I'm totally lost
That's a good start for to be found, you have to be lost first
That is sooooo true
It's OK BeSea. Don't take life so seriously. There may not be an answer for every question asked.
Follow streams downhill when lost. You'll eventually reach people
Beautiful, really gets your imagination going. all kind of fairy tales could have happened here.
