How does this relate to the show?
The contest requirements say "You are not necessarily trying to capture the theme of the show, but to interpret the name of the show in a photo" This is a sign posted on some forest trails, and so in this place, even if you are lost, you may not do any of those things.
I was thinking more that it illustrated the lost freedoms that excessive regulations have put upon us.
Yes, but in the context of this very very small country, (where some of it's drinking water has to be imported from another country), every tree, indeed every blade of grass is precious, and preciously looked after.
I'm not following how this relates to the show, or the concept of being lost
I agree with all above, and more, the goal is not only to fit the theme, but also trying to suggest a "nice" picture. Here you only shot a board which isn't even straight ... Not very creative ... If at least you showed us a part of the forest to bring more "elements" to understand your thinking and enrich your photography.
I agree, but the board is quite small and to include the forest would make the board un-readable. Thanks for all the comments anyway.
