Wonderful lighting reminiscent of an old oil painting. Well done
Stunning as usual
If you ever feel like sharing you post-production techniques Author...I'm just a PM away
Wonderful entry...love it. Set-up and lighting is spot-on, the balance and overall feel is wonderful...
why PM ?? Don't be so selfish. i think our author should share with us all !!
What? And level the playing field?!? I think not...LOL
Meatman, if you slow down your avatar a bit, perhaps the author can catch up with you?
No big secrets on my post-production really.
I use PS cs5 & RAW files.
Judging from our photo shop & 3D members i am at 10% of photo shop over all knowledge.
I mostly edit a photo until it's pleasing to my eye.
I believe that if a photo is well framed, composed & lit then there's not much to do in photo shop.
I use sharpness,shadows/highlights,dodge & burn to give the final look to my photo.
In b&w photos i increase the blacks a lot (so i can have the maximum contrast possible).
I have a 2008 acer laptop with a broken screen (i can't afford to buy a new one due the crisis in my country)...but i can do my job one way or an other....
Amazing lights and composing. Impressive shot. Good luck author.
Congratulations, it's a stunning photo.

really a beautiful composition, colors, shoes, and leaves, bravo
Nice one, very original. GL author
The painting was done about 30 years ago with a box of oil paints given to me 10 years earlier as a birthday present. It took me that long to get round to using it. (5 years and 1559 days ago)
it would be nice to have a high res.
Funny thing about this "Hi Res" It doesn't work all the time though I've ticked the check-box always.
I assume the image was larger than 476px × 800px.
Suggest you upload the image again, and tick the check box again. I often find you need to do that if the High res wasn't uploaded the first time.
