MossyB: MODS: There are starting to be several entries that are NOT actual street CORNERS, they are "pseudo" corners created by panorama photo stitching. Would you PLEASE CLARIFY that for this contest, the street
(1 year and 169 days ago) MossyB: corner MUST be an actual INTERSECTION of two streets, and the corner actually be a physical object, and NOT just an optical illusion? Thank you!
(1 year and 169 days ago) friiskiwi: MossyB, please explain why a Panorama of a street corner is not a Street Corner.
(1 year and 169 days ago) MossyB: If there is NO ANGLE or INTERSECTION of two streets, it is NOT a corner. I cannot believe the excuses being made for CURVES, when the word "corner," CLEARLY means an angle, NOT a curve.
Panorama shots that DO NOT FOCUS on the CORNER are OFF THEME. I even specified this in the contest description, yet for some reason, people cannot seem to grasp the word "CORNER." Not curve, not a sweeping panorama photo where the center of the image, due to distortion, can loosely be imagined to be a corner. A corner! An angle or intersection of two lines, in this case, the lines being two roads or streets...
I well understand that English is not the primary language of some members, but the definition of the word "corner," is pretty much universal.

(1 year and 163 days ago) itsmymoment: Mossy, not EVERY intersection of a 'corner' is a perfect right angle...some corners or intersection of 2 streets or alleys is a rounded angle due to urban engineering...Panos create a very distinctive 'horseshoe' effect...if you choose to be more descriptive in your suggestions in the future, then be so; however, then specify "NO PANO's" or something like that...the submission guidelines ask you to be 'as specific' as possible...
