Create the gray canvas and use the burn tool (midtones) with low opacity, hard brush to make the sketch

Now add light by dodge tool

Focus on the right eye

For the pores on the skin, I made a brush like that, then use it for the dodge tool on the bright area and for the burn tool on the dark area
