Old Contests - Photoshop Contest [25 entries]

Sometimes, when we take a look at the old contests in which we could not participate, we find them so interesting that we absolutely want to participate in them.
This contest will give you the chance to do so. Take a look at the old contests on Pxleyes and use the theme idea or the source image to create your work.
This contest also gives you the opportunity to participate in contests which had level restrictions that you could not participate.
And, if you want to participate in a contest that you already participated before, DON'T submit your old entry again... your entry in this contest has to be new and unique. Don't forget to mention in your description what contest you selected and include a link to that contest. Same rules regarding source as always.Good luck!

Dodge and burn contest:
Goal:
Make a square canvas with a grey background and create an image using dodge, burn, and smudge tools only. You can only use these tools, but it is allowed to use external references to base your work on. If you do, don't forget to mention them in your sources or SBS guide! Take some intermediate screenshots to show the progress of your work. Good luck!

JUST DIGITAL DRAWING
I used the burn and dodge tools only, with the support of my Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet.
I used this photo as the reference: http://chamberstock.deviantart.com/art/Spooky-Face-2-90286364
Great thanks to chamberstock for that image.
I don't believe that I can finish this one in a day. Thanks to Pxleyes contests, they help me improved a lot ^^.
Please watch the Hi-Res to see the close up detail, this is the most realistic artwork I've made :D. Thank you!

I did the Yellow Pill contest by accident - it was for levels 5-, so will enter it now. Pills were used for butterflies, vase, flowers, leaves and background. Stems were added with brush tool. No outside sources. Please see SBS (2 years and 22 days ago)

PXL Members Contest....
Goal: PXL members donate pictures of themselves, and it is your job to manipulate their images to make them look either good or evil. Chop them into unusual places, mess with their proportions, give them funny costumes... but do not post anything that would be considered offensive or distasteful.

All the parts of Taj Mahal were cunstructed from the source image (ceiling light).
Pattern on the front wall and on the building was made from the bluish bricks.
Most of the shapes were created by free transform and warp tools.
Multiplying helped as well…burn and dodge at the end,
after I figured out my light sources.
