Oil on canvas, 60 x 80 cm.

Black Swan Family playing, teaching, arguing, and many other things they do on the water. It represents the whole family matters like us, human.

A symbol of living in the harmony, protecting each others, even the ripples of life surrounding them, but they shall not fear.

--

I'm sorry for SBS that I forgot to capture the initial sketch of mine. But it is enough to see the progress. The original photo reference from my uncle that living near Shanghai, included in the SBS as well.

The final result came with 4 swan babies as you've seen above, it's the best composition in my opinion because I felt a little blank while seen the last SBS with just 3 swan babies. Done approximately 3 days of work alongside with my other entries contest & commercial projects.

Thank you for viewing, although the main subject must be a water but the protagonist that mostly painted on my painting was a swan family, it's still wet imho. (5 years and 2823 days ago)

I hope you like my new entry :) I painted it from my imagination. This is painted in Oil Paints with the wet-on-wet technique. This is my fourth EVER painting so I'm open to all sorts of criticism and advice.

Yeah!!!! Nice blues. You should do a lot more of this type of painting Author. You appear to be a natural and if so you will improve in great strides. Wet in wet is awesome!

I hope you like my new entry :) I painted it from my imagination. This is painted in Oil Paints with the wet-on-wet technique. This is my second EVER painting so I'm open to all sorts of criticism and advice.
I'll try to explain what I did since his painting was done a while ago and I didn't take pictures.. Sorry.. Well..
Before applying the oil paint I covered the canvas with a thin even coat of Bob Ross' Liquid White to allow me to blend colours on the canvas.. The Tree Bark was done with a palette knife and so were the mountains and rocks, first a dark outline and then gently touching the canvas with the knife that has some titanium white onto it. Finally the water fall was done with a fan brush and the splashes with a fan brush full of paint and I sort of flicked it on if you know what I mean! :D
