Hellflower, created by blur

Hellflower drawing picture

Digital painting with PaintTool SAI English Pack. A tribute to nature itself and also a memento to my fellow HON friends back then on university.

Please check my WIP section to see how my Hellflower blooms into this Contest.

Peaceful day at the Lake, created by tinstoy

Peaceful day at the Lake drawing picture

This is an acrylic painting. It is all imagination, so there is no source image.
During the process I only used five colors: Cerulean Blue, Burnt Umber, Primary Yellow, Deep Green and White, if white is considered a color.
For the mountains I used the painting knife. The rest was done with brushes.
I am learning how to paint, so I am open to any criticism or suggestions. Thanks...

Morning Waterfall, created by Toothpick134

Morning Waterfall drawing picture

I hope you like my new entry :) I painted it from my imagination. This is painted in Oil Paints with the wet-on-wet technique. This is my second EVER painting so I'm open to all sorts of criticism and advice.
I'll try to explain what I did since his painting was done a while ago and I didn't take pictures.. Sorry.. Well..
Before applying the oil paint I covered the canvas with a thin even coat of Bob Ross' Liquid White to allow me to blend colours on the canvas.. The Tree Bark was done with a palette knife and so were the mountains and rocks, first a dark outline and then gently touching the canvas with the knife that has some titanium white onto it. Finally the water fall was done with a fan brush and the splashes with a fan brush full of paint and I sort of flicked it on if you know what I mean! :D
Hope you like it!
