I like flowers. Rose is one of my favorites. I have some growing in the garden. There is where I got the idea of making a drawing of a rose first, then fill the outlines with color. I tried Illustrator, but I think PS worked much better.

I used the smudge tool, as I have done in some of my works, and the blending is amazing. (2 years and 244 days ago)

I did this about 7 years ago, it was for line practice. I never got around to shading or coloring it and to be honest, I never really figured out which would look best on it. The drawing took over a week to do, had to restart a couple of times and lots of erasing along the way.

Note: to do this type of drawing, you use a light board and graph paper, you do your drawing on a paper over the graph paper. You do 1/4 of the drawing, then you use that as your visual guide for the rest in reveres
