Pearlie, it's simple... i just used the spatter brush with a low opacity with white and a little bit of imagination and voila.... splashes. I first used liquify to change the waves and the used the spatter brush to create the spashes

langstrum is right, reflection is wrong. you would see the bird from a downward angle, not just like a simple flip... fix that and this will be quite nice.

Really nice image - BUT - the reflection is completely wrong... I would work on that a bit, then you will have a great image

It's a very beautiful work, except the reflection... I know it's difficult to do it, specially from this angle, but you have to try fixing it. Do yourself a crane origami and put it on a mirror, to see better how to make the reflexion...

Great job author, creation of the crane is great. The reflection of the original image (the flower) shows a lot of it in the reflection. The bird looks tilted to me to where you could see the reflection of the top. Well created good luck.
