-i start making a copy of PXL logo, scaled by 20% untill background was filled with copies of that one, then merge all copies in one layer.

-create a new personal "smudge brush" with a preset grungy brush

-smudge in the way you like to have a unique solid background. This is my blue texture.

-play with pen tool to create some simple wave shape. copy and paste every layer and create a similar landscape things adding more white or "light" each time

-copy and paste the "logo eyes" and put some in back wave. (5 years and 960 days ago)

pxleyes.com collides with a photoshop transparent background.

Method:
- Star background shape for floor made using pen tool.
- Mixed background shapes for back wall using photoshop basic shapes.
- Starburst background shape for sky made using pen tool, duplicate many times, change anchor so when tilted it gives a starburst look.
- Background cut into 2 and converted to 3d and merged with logo in 3d space.
- Photoshop transparent background made using screen capture and capturing photoshop background.
- Patterns made using define pattern tool.

I know it may look like it will take a long time but trust me it shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes. As to the entry it is a good idea but I would maybe add more images to it and make the PXL logo look a bit more like the PXL logo because so far it looks a bit distorted IMO. Good luck author!

I totally agree. But I intended to give a feel of like it wasn't intended to give the feel of making the logo. More like a photographer roughly sorted all his pictures on his desk to look like PXL logo to pass his time. That is the intention of putting the coffee cup & also why the right side is entirely messy..
