There wasn't very much done to this photo. You could have accentuated the drool a bit to add an extra flair
Sometimes u dont have to change that much to get a funny caricature, but i accentuated the drool, wanted to do that myself, looked funny, and the hair
must agree with happyme27... not much work done, the photo id simply liquefied nd the hair smudged...
ok made a few adjustments, made the cheeks bigger, and the space between the nose and mouth with copy and past and transform tool
Ahhh , very cute !
I think u did great job author...u had great source find but everything that u work on the image is nice executed...well done
thx erathion for ur kind words i needed that lol, i indeed changed the whole kids head including the cheeks and ears and maybe it wasnt that kind of much work but its the execution that counts and the end result

I love the minimalist simplicity. Somehow I think that this might be more compelling, however, if the top of the ladder ended in front of the guy. And I would ditch the question mark; you've already captured that confusion with your title. Fine tuning: Instead of flaring ladder-base shadow, have shadow match ramp lines. Going up ramp from bottom, top of left-side edge should meet the top edge of the right-turn ramp, and then the corner at the next turn should be straight up and down, not curved. Right-side edge of long center ramp should be straight up and down at the bottom, and at the top it should match the top of the left-turn ramp.
I already tried setting the ladder in front, but somehow it ruins some parts of the illusion. The question mark will be removed and I probably will not have time to edit the rest since I am working on multiple contests. Thanks for the suggestions though.
DanLundberg, if the top of the ladder ended in front of the guy, it wouldn't be quite an illusion then. If he/she fine tuned according to how you say, it would not be an illusion anymore--it would be realistic.
nice work ...............
k5683: If there were no guy, there would be no (really significant) illusion. The guy transforms the final ramp plane from a top to a bottom. My suggestion merely proposed that having the ladder connect to the front of that bottom (the direction the guy is facing) might be better than connecting to the back of that bottom -- plus (I would note) connecting to the front would create an illusion even without the guy (i.e., an alternative way to convert the final ramp plane from a top to a bottom).
very nice work, best of luck

Heheheh, nice idea author. I like how the surface of the water is here too. Anyways... Creative? Cute fish.
Waiter... My burger is soggy... hehehe
(Not that it needs it .. but a little shading to fish might give it a little more solid feel.. he's really cute by the way
very nice, love the color matching technique, good place to use that.

aww geez... this is so disappointing because I have a feeling you were going to go crazy with this idea.. but you know what... I kind of like the idea of having to fill the space with my mind.. sorry you didn't have enough time
yeah i had a few things in mind to add to this but they would take a couple of days to do because i dont know how exactly to do it but im sure i could figure it out, but i have just been real busy.
The water doesn't look realistic at all...
