Nice image. That dog does look lost. The plowed field on the right just doesn't look right to me as for the perspective.
Thanks. That field is tricky since the image I am working with was from a totally different camera angle. I'm actually ok with the field, it's the cracks in the road that keep me fiddling in photoshop.
Perspective is always an issue when merging cracks from one picture to the other.. using Distort/Perspective/Warp are always helpful, but I do understand the frustration of getting to match what is in your mind to what is on the screen. Now get that puppy a sandwich or I'm calling PETA.. hehehe
Trust me I would love to feed that dog! He seems like a sweet little guy.
Each time I try and change the cracks in the road they haven't looked any better. So for now I'm leaving them this way. If I can get them changed and in a way that looks better I'll definitely update the entry.
Blurring the cracks towards the higher area might help you, use a bigger blur brush with an opacity 8 and blur more often towards the higher parts.
I am gonna adopt that cutie so he ll no longer be lost
