There is one little thing, he's got white lines around his hands. Maybe a quick layer mask to clean up the edges of the guy?
I cleaned it, hope it looks better now...
Using puppet warp on the puppies legs (GENTLY) could give them the "Dangle" effect.. not that it matters, it looks great just the way it is... but at the moment the dog looks like it's "standing" on a flat surface. Just a silly nitpick

Agree with Ernie on the puppet warp and maybe try to blend the man in a bit better. Otherwise good take on the source
