Looks like a top entry. The SBS lacks information: correct me if I'm wrong, you used a black filled mask for the face, while the letters were white, which masked everything around them and created the effect.

not really white, color adjustment make the color change. this is very simple just clipping the face mask do the effect. sorry my bad english too
