mmm, what prog did you use for this?..........Sorry, but I think you need to learn more about the prog before you attempt any more of these.......
i used akvis and yes i do this was the first time i really used it
Fixing is very bad, especially in the curtains, and colouring is very undetailed. =/
The coloris is also way over saturated, yes it looks like you were just attempting. Juts try and fix it and replace this one and I'll hold my vote.
you dont have to be so rude a little kindness would be be nice
actually author EVERYONE's first attempt at photo fixing looks a lot like this.. you should be commended for your effort and also for putting forth a great attempt (this actually looks like a very famous artist I used to work with that would paint giant black and white photos with color oils directly on the image (super old school) I think your debris removal shows great promise... and you do have a knack for cloning out the bad stuff... just be patient with the comments... it's just part of the learning process (and this site allows the bitter with the sweet) We all start somewhere
good luck

(by the way, I could really sell this piece in my old Art Gallery I worked in... your color choices are wonderful, it's just in photoshop contest High Saturation of color makes the piece too Surreal, so of course photoshoppers will offer their voice to help fix it.. don't let it get you down
Bravo drivenslush..........I couldn't agree more.........author, as drivenslush has already said, your actual photo repair work is outstanding fro a beginner.........keep up the good work!!
When I look back at my first attempt I smile. Yours is pretty decent. Don't be discouraged, with work you will get better and better.
I'm sorry if you think we are comming off rude but if you are going to get offended that we gave you several suggestions for improvement, then maybe this site isn't for you. I wasn't rude, I was honest as most people are on this site who like to give tips to try and help others. If you want to improve your game, step back and just look at where we are comming from. I'm not familiar with that program and suggest if possible you invest in photoshop 7.0, to start. PS is the most widely used program.. and the best!
the red chair and hair is a little off. i think it was an easy fix just the edges were messed up. gl
very nice
