Contest goal:

An asteriod extinct all human life on earth many, many years ago...
Your goal is to create a landscape on earth without human life. You can use any place on earth you want.
Show us how you think this place will look X years after the asteroid impact. Also mention the amount of years after the impact your scenery represents.
Note that only human life is extinct. Other life forms managed to survive, just like in the movie/documentary 'life after people'.
If you incorporate animals or plants in your scenery is up to you, it is not mandatory.

elficho: hmm.. if an asteroid hit the earth "many, many" years ago, the human kind wouldn't have had chance to build big civilizations, right? and there are a lot of places on our planet that haven't been corrupted by us. so we can basically take a stock of any jungle, desert etc and adjust it a bit and that would be it! or am i missing the point?

Akassa: Err if this would happen i guess the planet would be covered with smoke and no plants at all bc the sun rays couldn't pass the atmosphere and the temperature would raise like hell... so i guess many many plants and animals would be extint. ( 5 years and 3498 days ago )
