Great manipulation! You might want to soften some edges, like around the insides of the eyes, the lower edge of the face, and the lips. Might also be better to provide a background instead of the rectangles. IMHO they're kinda distracting. Still, high quality stuff.
Thanks for the input CMYK, I'll zoom in on the sharp edges and take another look, ...the rectangles are a play upon the outline that pxleyes places on every entry, I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now and saw the opportunity here with this entry. The source image has a plain white bkgd, and I thought I'd keep it the same way.
As you can see, I changed my mind on the white bkgd, thanks.
Great use of source. Beautiful, colorful image.
Thank you George.
Thank you MM
Great image! I agree with CMYK though, this image would "pop" a lot more on a darker background imo. Otherwise great use of source. Good Luck.
Thanks finalcut, gotta admit I never considered a black bkgd, but I will give it a try.
I don't have my file with me so I downloaded it from the site, but I like it better black, will do a better finish at home tonight.
Thanks again guys.

very nice work and a very good use of the sources
Some edges (birds. antelopes) are jagged & could use some softening. Otherwise not bad.

What stock did you use for the eyes... in the SBS there's a cut out eye that isn't any of the sources you've listed.
ooops sorry will post it. I was sooooo tired last night trying to up load at 2:00 in morn, knew I would forget something.
Thanks to Marcus J. Ranum for the train station stock. (5 years and 768 days ago)
