Great idea! Just 2 things: the stones should be thicker, and instead of faking it, you could have imported the grass edge from the foreground stone to the edges of the others.

AWESOME IDEA (to thicken the stones easily.. just duplicate it and lower the back layer with nudge.. repeat and it will be plenty think in no time... other then that.. EXCELLENT WORK

That's the definition of "simple & effective - less is more"
You could follow Driven's advice, pay attention to perspective though, the further the stone the thiner it is.
Also fix that grass like CMYK said and clear those masking problems.

It looks ok, except that :
1. At the beginning of the river, the water should be flat, not following the form of the book.
2. Since you have a path, that croses the river, you could add a bridge over it, too.
3. You could also try to keep edges to the pages so that the grass is not entirely covering them.

Very nice work author...In high resolution river don't look good at all,it look like some mix of green white mess...so maybe would be better without...also u could use some color adjustment layers to achieve better blending and to pop u entry...if u decide to do that PM me to give u some advices about that...any how image is very nice...gl

i dont get why the corner is so sharp between the shaded and lighted areas. but on the outsides its dull. other wise love the picture. very nice..!! and good idea too
