Creative surrealism. I do kind of wish the hole in the grass lined up with the hooves rather than being off to the side of the horse, however. (It seems to me that a horse sticking its head through a hole off to the side would likely be in more of a 3/4 pose exposing the top of the head and the far ear -- but maybe that's too realistic for surrealism.) Great feel to this piece, I really like what you have done with the wispy hair and how you created the wings. In my personal opinion the very bright horn takes a little too much of the focus away from the beutiful horse, but that's only in my very humble opinion. Reply »

Nice work -- edges of the horse and especially the grass seem a bit to sharp and smooth -- maybe a bit of blur on the horse and some blades of grass sticking out

Ya...I remembered a scene from Toy Story 3; when woody is going to leave whole gang back, when bullseye follows him and that time he has that sad look on his face. And also as I have kept his neck a bit downward, it makes his sad look appropriate to that posture. Reply »
