Band Visualization - Photoshop Contest [22 entries]

Contest goal:

Ever wondered what the members of your favorite music band were thinking when they had to choose a name for their group? For example Radiohead or Arctic Monkeys? Can you even picture that? Maybe somebody with a radio instead of a head walking in the streets? Monkeys living at the North Pole?

These were just some examples, of course there are many many more creative band names. and your goal in this contest is to pick a band and visualize the name of it. In theory you can pick any band you want, but the ones with weirder names are funnier of course.

One last thing, it has to be a real band (be it from the past or present), no imaginary bands. Good luck!

Used grunge brushes as a base, cut out the red pepper to 6 layers with various filters on it, Added a stroked border, bevel, shadow and gradient overlay, overlayed various colours using basic brushes, added pieces of fire and the smoke brushes, duplicated and made smaller for the other 2. First I want to apologize to the mod... oops there's a lot of sources ;)

There's loads of bandnames in this entry, can you find them all? I'll post the link with all the bandnames I've put in as a comment when the contest is finished.

To be more accurate I've put 33 bands inthere but maybe you can find more. Furthermore there's 2 "cheats". Some images - groups of images can represent more bands.

Totally awesome idea, but I wish the image could exist alone as an odd collection of artifacts even if one didn''t know they actually represented band names. For example, the bomb looks like a flat thing on top of the pic rather than a 3D object sitting on the countertop. And what is the "blah blah blah" written on? Plus the uniform spacing of elements across the image is kind of boring.
