I agree with ponti about your image extration; but it's a great and creative idea!
But looking at the original source (girl), she is under the sun; background image is a bit cloudy... and I suppose the girl casts a shadow on the sand. Reply »

erikuri, I have now posted my SBS. As you can see - there is NO shadow under the original girl that's why I didn't put one! I can do nothing at all (as far as I know) about the cloudy background image - that's the original untouched. I appreciate your comments - keep them coming... Reply »

Great idea! I also agree that the masking is a bit soft. I would suggestion using the pen tool to extract and then blurring the mask afterwards to taste. Good luck! Reply »

The shadow of the falling woman should also be falling and I think you should let the shadow of legs be visible on "extra part sticking out" - where the shadow suddenly gets cut. try also to blur and fade the motion blur a little so it not that straightsharp. Like the idea a lot. GL Reply »

actually, the shadow should be bigger( taller ) but i made it the same size as the girl.....and based on the angle in which the light source coming from a real shadow would be an entirely different shape rather than the same silhouette of what the girl looks like from perspective in which the picture was taken....but i just meant to keep this simple Reply »

There's a tutorial similar to the apple and lion, if you used that tutorial be sure to credit it.

I suggest rotating the wings a little bit counter-clockwise to match with the shape of her body.
