These are in a hanging basket on my verandah. The background is the dry grass on the ground. (218 days ago)

We want the bridge, the whole bridge and nothing but the bridge.

author says:

avatar still26

Grass View...hmmmm but the contest says bridges! A piece of a bridge is a tease.

author says:

yes I know,might change it

avatar still26
still26 says:

This one is better than the previous one, however, can you see that the attention is on the boat , not the bridge?

This is souda bay in crete, there are about 1500 graves in this place, and about half are unnamed graves, this second world war memorial is so moving to see and its so peacefull its almost takes your breath away. (342 days ago)

Ahhh, what a place to visit, thank you. You have over contrasted this and you can clearly see black "clipping" or "black outs" in the trees. (it's the opposite of blowouts) You could take your highlights/shadow lever and muck around a bit to see if you could bring out some detail. This was taken on a very bright day and your exposure was difficult. It is a nice photograph and would do well in a magazine

I ask the fateful question: Where is the fish?

Is it in the cupboard?

Is there a sheep and fish joke that I'm not getting? Like this photo, wonder if it could have been stronger without a bellybutton pov? Nice and clear with good contrast and colour saturation is natural.
